The North Queensland Sports Education Tour was developed by the Northern Region, Sport & Recreation Queensland to assist in overcoming the barriers of sport and recreation service delivery to rural and remote communities, and to provide opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Sport Recreation Queensland facilitated the tour from 1997 to 2000. In 2000 Sport Recreation Queensland asked the North Queensland Sports Foundation to take over the facilitation of the tour. The North Queensland Sports Foundation has since organised tours all over North Queensland.

For more information, or if you would like your organisation to participate, please contact the North Queensland Sports Foundation Office by phone (07) 4724 2500 or by sending your email address in the column on the right.
