In 1978 he became the youngest Test player for Australia. A Winger who played 25 tests for Australia from 1978 to 1984 scoring 15 tries. Kerry represented Australia 25 times including 2 Kangaroo tours.
After retiring as a player in 1989 he coached North Queensland to a state league premership on 1991. He was the CEO of the North Queensladn Cowboys in 1992.
